Porsche showed the world exactly what their ideal customer looks like. In their iconic 2006–2007 commercial, a 10-year-old boy spots a Porsche 911 driving past his classroom. He becomes completely captivated, sneaks out, runs to the dealership, sits in the car, and carefully studies every detail. And says: “I’ll see you in about 20 years.” Porsche understood that the best customers aren’t made through aggressive marketing they’re cultivated over decades through deep emotional connection. That little boy wasn’t ready to buy yet… but he was already sold for life. . . . This concept deserves an award for 3 reasons: 1. Portrays the strength of the brand 2. Speaks to why the brand captures the present desires of both the admirers and the customers of the brand and how it permeates and reverberates into their future as a matter of unmatched quality & trust. 3. They are a brand of the future and they respect your dreams. Oh my God, I need someone to employ me in analysing adverts like this.
