3:08 That's called the "fish-eye effect." It's a real thing where some light reflects off the surface of the the water rather than refracting inside it. No matter where you look up, it will always be a circle. Real interesting stuff. edit: I thank everyone who corrected me in the replies. It's called Snell's window, and creates a natural fisheye effect, which is where I got confused.

If he doesn't go back in the hot cave to finally retrieve the code for the Tadpole Pens, I am going to LOSE MY MIND! Edit: I lost my mind! I know he plays in Early Access, but c'mon..my heart can't take it anymore, haha

Not Jack completely forgetting that he manually saved before going to the crab tree in the 3rd episode. He did extra stuff when he could've loaded his save from before he lost his tadpole😂😭

7:26 The Rosetta Stone was used to decode Egyptian Hieroglyphics, and finally thanks to that we were able to read the language of ancient egyptians.

Jack go back to the hot caves and look for small cave that leads down into a bigger area. You’ll find the key to the locked tadpole area and more. The keycard area will have a thermal generator in it right next to the key. The story is far from over.

Jack, you can fix the building! You need to purify the angel comb and check the crafting recipe of the alien power plant. There's wayyy more story in the Early Access. ((With an actual ending for this point in the story))

The circle of light you see as you're swimming towards the surface is a natural phenomenon called Snell's Window. It's a thing that happens in real life and is related to how the water surface refracts light

0:18 Btw you can repair destroyed crafts in subnautica 2. So it still gives you the location of the destroyed tadpole.
