I don’t understand how him waiting and watching it is any different than when golfers spend 3-5 minutes lining up a putt…
If it ever rolls in, it should count with no penalty because hitting a ball that is moving is a penalty. If it doesn't, then it wasn't moving.
We love this stupid frustrating game but it is run by stupid frustrating people.
The ball never stopped moving
Clock resets every time it moves
So I have to take a stroke penalty waiting longer than 10sec to let it fall while the ball is still in motion And I have to take a stroke penalty if I hit the ball while it’s in motion It’s a lose lose scenario
I love golf but some rules gotta go. I can’t move my ball out of a divot in the middle of the fairway ??? I can’t let my ball fall in the hole if it’s longer than 20 seconds ? I get it’s a gentleman’s game but let’s get with the times
10 sec time limit once player walks up to the hole
I don't get it. If you are on the green and the ball is moving, it's a stroke penalty if you mark the ball or put the ball. If wait over 10 seconds its a stroke penalty. Here's my question, if you tap this ball in under 10 seconds and it's still moving, do i give myself a penalty stroke.
Whoever cut the cup did a messy ass job
If the ball is on the putting green and you make a stroke while it is in motion, you are generally not penalized; however, you must not use this to your advantage to speed up or stop the ball purposely. If your ball is moving (e.g., it is rolling back toward you after a putt or being moved by wind), you must wait for it to stop before striking it again. SO STUPID he took a stroke penalty.
Clock started early
Shoulda marked his ball, cleaned it and then place it back
Anticipation is making me wait 😧 🫣🎻 🥁 ⛳ 🎰 🏹 🏆 🎯 🤏 💯👌😉
Under the current Rules of Golf from the United States Golf Association and The R&A: You are allowed a “reasonable time” to walk up to the hole. Once you arrive at the hole, you are allowed an additional 10 seconds to wait and see if the ball falls in. If the ball drops into the hole within those 10 seconds, it counts as holed with your previous stroke. If it falls in after the 10 seconds expire, the ball is considered holed, but you add one penalty stroke.
That doesn’t result in a penalty you just have to put it in
If you’re playing partner agrees by saying I think it’ll go in, then no penalty should be accessed or as I see in other instances a playing partner keeps you honest for the rest of the field
If that was from the fairway, would he have been assessed the one-stroke penalty?
Pero la bola se está moviendo. No se detiene.
