Before the tournament I heard golf experts claiming that Aronomick was an old course and the pros were going to tear it up with the winner probably 18 to 20 under par. Well, the joke is on them. The rough is how long the rough should be for every tournament. The greens aren't machine made with every imperfection taken out and every contour removed. Also, there aren't a half dozen par fives each 550 plus yards long making the course shorter than the average course these guys play on. As a result, we're watching the players having to hit precise shots. More like the U.S. Open used to be when the winner was two under, and everyone else was over par.

That ground crew did an amazing job on the course. That's some of the thickest rough I have ever seen.
More than half of the time of this highlights vid is spent on players who have no chance and are playing for 45th place! Who cares that someone on +4 gets one birdie.

Cam Smith shot a round of -2 today in his 1st weekend in a major in god knows how long to sit tied 11th at -2. It was impossible to watch any of those shots other than feature holes 13, 16 & 17. Yet I can watch every 1 of Brian Campbell's shots from a round of +12 who sits 82nd at +16. Yeah sick
I hope Rahm takes it. The guy never misses a beat arguably one of the hottest golfers in the world.

The wind today was brutal in the afternoon. Seems so unfair but that's golf.
Well, i watched the highlights and i must say, this course suits my eyes and the shown pictures are ib meantime better because it's not only putting you can see. But i miss some players with remarkable rounds in this summery. Kaymer shot 4 under and we saw one of shot, the German Matti Schmid carded 5 under and is part of the runner ups now but there is not one shot shown. Why?

Love how the commentators kept saying the players were going to go low "this afternoon" and they proceeded to absolutely not go low as the course setup was diabolical.
