In this episode we finish assembling the Mazda Cosmo, reveal the fresh paint, get the body fully mounted and aligned, and finally see the car back on its wheels looking like a real car again. From custom fabrication and rare parts to trying to keep the vision together through all the chaos, this build has been a massive challenge from start to finish. There’s still more work ahead before the Cosmo is fully complete, but this is one of the biggest milestones yet and the first time the project finally feels real again. I have the same condition as Matt from obsessed garage and I drive 2 hours a day for school and use to drive around 6-8 hours when I worked at a dealership and I always have the fear of passing out behind the wheel to. So I give him props 👍🏼 12:28
Fun fact, the fish oil smell, he’s correct about it and Adam is too. The the leather balm/perserver that protect factory leather is derived from ground up fish from fish farming, process is called ensilage i think(in Norway we call it ensilasje) and it’s ground up dead salmon from fish farms with hydrochloric acid to stop the decomp of the fish so they can extract oil and proteins from the ensilage. The smell of good(non decomposed) ensilage smells vaguely like the «new car» smell and vice versa, once you smell ensilage you can’t «unsmell» it in new cars!

Since the blue parts cosmo is so rare even though it’s a parts car it really should have something proper done to it. Idk if that’s a full build but at least keep it alive. I mean seriously there are more e30 m3s then JC cosmos
