Hey boys have we tried the trip? Tronic sort of things? Yes and no manual would work wonders with that motor but you flick it over. I’m pretty sure you got boys would’ve been right.
When you changed it from Auto to manual, I don't think I've seen you put the copper bush in the back of the crank Would that be the cause? Wow not what I thought.
Greetings from America.. I have been binge watching your videos.. They are excellent.. Not just the content but how it is presented as well as you guys (gals). That said I was surprised and a tad disappointed you chose to go manual .. Especially you DAN LOL :) For the budget you only spent half to go to manual but IMO I think you could of done a lot to the automatic or a swapped in one to improve it for under the $5K if not around the same for the swap.. IMO it would be good for all your mates in Aussie land that have and are not up to going manual.. Dan did the valve body swap in one so doing a aftermarket HD full manual shift automatic would be doable if not showing how to install / upgrade a valve body kit.. Likewise for HD servos, plates, clutches etc. It seems that AT trans was used in many vehicles for many years so many might be interested in it. Just my opinion .. not that what you did is wrong or bad .. look forward to following along.

Wrong direction boys! Should stick with the auto and have it kitted out with Wholesales valve body and deep pan etc, etc. Coupled with their controller you can shift it as a manual, select any gear and hold it, and with a lock-up convertor it can be driven like a six speed. Transfer reductions of 63% and 4.3 diff gears will give you a crawl ratio of around 51:1, which is better than the manual for crawling. By far the best modification I have done to my GU. Transforms the car and I WAS a die-hard manual freek!!! Screw the budget limit, thro in the extra cash and have a keeper for a long term.
