Salt does damage and causes rust after a while that's why u shouldn't buy any vehicles etc from up north... my Nissan came from Michigan and the undercarriage was a rust bucket

Mine looks like that all the time winters black it’s normal wash it two three times a week or it will rust away bought mine new in 2019 and it still has only surface rust by washing it off every other day it sucks but it’s life

I spray diesel mixed with oil with paintgun on the worst places on the tractor. And wash them. Of course you need to have shed to keep them dry.

They do the same in Alberta. Save the plow blade and just salt the road.
