The original dealer offer of £2,000 was far too low - £4,000 would have been fairer.

Just would like to mention about car alarm, on 996 when it’s car locked for more than 2 weeks- you won’t be able to open by key button - but only with key (if that these case).

Matt, I have your Boxsters sister! I have a CN53*** Boxster S from Porsche centre Cardiff, and mine also has dealings with Porsche Exeter… That’s down to me but still!! Mine has about 100k less miles on as well, but it also cost me a little bit more than £2k 😢😂
Not a flat battery. The Boxster goes into sleep mode after 7 days if not used to save the battery. You have to use key to open and then press the remote to open button before opening the car and the alarm will not go off. Looks like you have a sound buy there judging by the receipts!
If the car isnt unlocked for about 3 days it needs to be key unlocked. To stop the alarm, turn the key to the left and press the fob and ithe alarm doesnt sound. Great video, Matt, great car of couse. I would have preferred my to have that gearbox. How can people spend so much on a car and then sell it at a vast loss? Best not to do the work and just let the car go for whatever.
Would love to see the work being done at the mechanics and Jimmy the magician. The Merc vids that involve SPR give us the full story… any chance of us seeing the same for non Mercs?
