This has literally been me the past few days, I got a completely new pc setup with wall mounted monitors. My walls are too thin for them so we had to put a 2x4 behind the wall just to get the mount to stop coming out of the wall. Then I was trying to transfer files from my old computer to Google drive to download them onto my new pc. I tried for 4 days straight to transfer them with no return. So I eventually said fuck it I’m going to just take the drive out and connect it to the new one to transfer and then return the drive to the old pc once it’s done. So I do that only for the hard drive to corrupt halfway through transferring and made me lose everything. 550 gigs gone in one second and I called places all around yesterday and got quoted $1,100-$3,000 just to recover the data since it was a 1 terabyte hard drive and I don’t have that kind of money right now

Yep. Truck timing chain broke rebuilding now, pulled the car out to drive that, calipers seized, replaced those, suspension on it broke now too, have to replace a strut before I get back on the road. When it rains it pours.
