I nearly missed this video in my feed as I was just about to flick past is as I thought I was another AI slop video, thankfully I read the title and creator and realised it was Salvage Rebuilds. I wasn’t ready for a thumbnail like that, you just get used to a channels way of making their thumbnails and it becomes part of their brand, and at a glance you know who the video is from without even reading the title or creator. Might be best to keep with your normal thumbnails as im sorry to say that AI one cheapens your brand and you guys are way better than that. Love you guys so sorry to be negative.
I bought an old car that was a bit smelly even after the seats were washed with a Vax. The pollen filter was rancid so I changed that and also purchased one of those Maguires "stink bombs". You let these off in the car with all the doors and windows shut with the engine running with the ventilation cranked right up and on re-circulation for 15 minutes. This spreads a fine mist of highly scented spray all through the inside of the car and all the internal vents and ducts. It did the job for me and for a tenner or so well worth it.
Chris's comments about pubs in the 1980s reminded me how growing up in a house where both parents were 20 a day smokers led to my school uniform stinking so much that my peers thought I also smoked - this was the mid-1970s. So you did well to sanitise that Corsa!!

Get yourself an ozone generator. Get it running in the car with it all closed up and the heater on recirculation and the AC going. Ozone is air bleach and it strips smells from most things.

The best thing to remove any kind of very strong smell from car interiors is to give it a thorough clean, and a wet Vac, let it dry, then put an Oso machine running in the car for half an hour with the recirculation on and your smell will be completely gone (very rarely you have to use the ozone machine twice). This is a method used by professional car detailers too.
