Last chance to Win the Landrover or £10,000 link below ⬇️ https://raffall.com/421495/enter-raffle-to-win-land-rover-defender-or-10000-hosted-by-mrhewes Today we finally attempt to start a Rolls-Royce V12 tank engine that’s been sat untouched since 1990. Originally reconditioned and packed away decades ago, this engine has never been used… until now. After carefully unwrapping it and setting everything up, we run it for the very first time to see if a 36-year-old “new” tank engine will still fire into life. But that’s not all that happened this week… The local young farmers (KELMARSH YFC) also came over to attempt the impossible — pulling one of our tanks by hand! We also make more progress on the Diamond T restoration, continue sandblasting work on the WW2 Halftrack project, and tease a very special vehicle arriving soon. Thanks for watching and supporting these mad projects!

Hearing that V12 wake up after 36 years gave me goosebumps honestly!
You were mentioned on twitter a couple of days ago on a defence page and the terrible way the MOD buys stuff, one of the commenters said “ the way it’s going with buying stuff, we’ll be not far away from Mr Hewes owning more tanks than the British army”
The C clip installation was prime
Just wanted to chime in with everyone else. Your videos are sublime! The perfect blend of fun and laughter with just the right amount of technical detail. The videography, audio and editing are professional grade and way and above what's shown on "normal" TV. No stupid jump-cuts and no mindless audio track to distract and annoy and I love the stills at the end of the video. They're like the cherry on top, the perfect ending. Thanks everyone for all your hard work!!!
There are not too many YouTube videos over an hour long, that I will watch, But Mr Hewes videos can be all day long ones for me.
Honestly, you know what your getting from a Mr Hewes video, a running tank engine and lots of laughter from the team! awesome work as always Mr Hewes!

An hour of Mr Hewes on a Sunday-Roast beef dinner-with sprouts-couple of ciders. Yeah that'll do me.
Jack, nice job on the Diamond T, it looks the biz!
gauges often have glycerine in them to damp out needle wobble due topressure vibrations
I've seen plenty of tank hull bung holes on this channel but I wasn't expecting to see Seb's today 💀
Priming the electricity -that made me chuckle.
Well done to the Kelmarsh YFC team That was a lot of weight to move Ted walked away because he knows tanks have engines and he couldn't understand why people were using a rope to move it Thanks for the video guys 👍
Good to see Tayah tank commander back 😊
You see more running tanks with Mr Hewes than at the Tank Museum !
