Get 30% off Yfood today here - https://bit.ly/mats-favourites I took a chance on buying a repossessed Bugatti Veyron with a bunch of problems. One of them being that it wouldnt go into gear. After finding out it was just a $3 fuse to put the car into gear its now time to see if it will actually drive, but the problems didnt stop there. 👇 FOR MORE CONTENT CHECK OUT MY SECOND CHANNEL 👇 https://www.youtube.com/@matarmstrongmk2 ⬇️ ALL HWBT MERCH ⬇️ https://matarmstrong.co.uk/ ⬇️ Follow Me Here Aswell ⬇️ https://facebook.com/matarmstrongbmx https://instagram.com/matarmstrongbmx

Petition to make mat put a starlight headliner in his Bugatti
Mat, I am a new subscriber and one of your videos came up in the suggestions recently and I have watched a lot of your videos since then. I am a Canadian medical student and my staff preceptors are really into nice cars and I suggested your channel for one of our lunchbreaks when we watch Youtube in the physician call room and, safe to say, your channel is a hit. Between all the shop work, the video editing, logistics, you are a busy man, but the end product is always the highest quality. We love that you have your dad in the videos - his laugh is contagious and we enjoy his appearances.
Diagnostic thought process/pathway. 1) The cold start misfires. VW have different modes on cold/warm starts, homogeneous & stratified. It is plausible that this vehicle also uses these modes and with direct injection type faults, there may be carbon related issues causing the cold start misfires that balance out when the modes switch? The plugs look bad regardless and need to go, but that multiple misfire on cold start issue I have experienced on golfs etc.. 2) The pump staying on. A couple of things that could be checked along the way. Current draw test at those wires with an amp clamp, you can then see what the max draw is and calculate it against the fuse that previously blew. Use this in conjuction with a thermal imager, when the draw is high look for hot spots around the fuse board, relays joints, wiring etc... you may find there is a hot spot that brings you direct to an issue. 3) Pressure test the radiator direct, maybe use a turbo type system leakage tester? block one side and use air pressure adaptors into the other, a smoke test will not build up enough pressure if it is tiny to push out a visible smoke leak. Making up adaptor/s to attach or block would not be that complicated and it isolates the radiator directly. Wynns stop leak is good so it may be resolved for now. 4) Ultrasonic cleaning of metal filters is an option, if you don't have one, it would be good equipment to have in your workshop for cleaning lots of auto parts. I don't have the luxury of time to watch all your videos, but when I can I watch one and always enjoy it. I hope some info is useful for you. Keep up the great work 💯
( need to heat wrap the harness on the pump motor ) Time to post all the part numbers with prices for the parts
For those gearbox filters, Pall is an aerospace manufacturer, and luckily I live a 2 minute drive from one of their factories and a good friend works for them, if that’s any help at all let me know 😂 I’ll hand deliver those filters to your workshop if needed (or send them to a P.O. Box)
That $3 fuse was the key to getting the Bugatti Veyron moving, though deeper issues like the gearbox pump wiring and engine misfires proved the car still needed extensive work. It's an incredible DIY feat to service this beast without relying on official Bugatti channels!
9:11 love when mat compares cylinder 16 to a VW Lupo 😂 now I’m imagining a Bugatti is just 4 Lupo Gti’s strapped together 😂😂😂
Only Mat could drive a Veyron around a farm with panels missing, love it 😂

Imagine playing loud, motivational music over a W16's unadulterated test drive noise.
I font think I ever saw anyone so wholesomly happy on a YouTube video. Made me feel good.
Mat Armstrong's father is officially the "World's Best Dad," having raised a bright and wise risk-taker who has accomplished so much. I hope my children grow up to be as wonderful!
Too good to be true and I don’t believe but a trick that shall draw attention the the video to get so many viewers as possibly.
when you have fixed it then take it on a road trip like you did with the Lamborghini Revuelto. It would be cool to see that

The radiator is a micro channel coil. Same as a Lennox HVAC condenser coil. Can fix with a map gas torch and aluminum rod in about 90 seconds.
Bugatti “finally team, Matt’s posted again which means we can finally fix costumer cars because we have no clue what the issues are until Matt diagnoses 😂
I'll just stick my tuppence worth in here - As someone who lost their dad a few months ago (he taught me SO much on engineering - both mechanical & electrical, along with precision & know how), I find it heart warming to see Matt work alongside his dad and, in spite of his own knowledge & experience, ask his dads advice on some of the things he does. Kudos Matt, keep these brilliant Giant Killing videos coming! 😊😇
i was feeling a bit off but you your team your pops and your whole energy and videos just make me laugh and smile and enjoy everything that you guys do in the videos , really appreciate it mate <3
