I met a guy that had a ripped up dingy ass old zx10 with no fairings on it electrical tape holding the wiring to the frame in a bunch of places and a literal bath drain plug. Indeed at least itβs in there.

I dont get it? That's just how those tank caps work. Ive had one as well. They're Honda's "Pushlock". They're shitty, and the hooks that hold it in place seize up frequently, so oiling them regularily is important, but they do work.
