If everything else is in great shape on the truck you might as well bite the bullet and have Dave’s boys rebuild that engine.
First gen raptors with the 6.2 are still around with almost 400k miles. Ford made sure that didn’t happen again.
Could never afford one of those but having an engine installed by Dave's crew seems the best route to go
Anybody that is willing to ship a truck that far is going to want option 3

I would like an update with how the customer maintained it. Did he do extended intervals on oil changes? What oil? What filter? etc.
Raptures should come with the 5.0L coyote engine or be an option. The 3.5L is a pile.
These engines are called the power stroke engine, because when they break they have the power to give you a stroke.
