A friend of mine in high school passed away in a situation like this. He and his cousin were riding dirt bikes through some orange groves and collided on a blind corner. My friend went head first over the handlebars and broke his neck. He passed away in his cousins arms ten minutes later. That was twenty years ago and I still think about it every time I get on a dirt bike.
