Zendaya herself has said in multiple interviews that she has final say in what outfit she wears and that in the past, she has even decided to change the outfit last minute bc she didn’t like something about it and once even changed her red carpet outfit in the van that was driving her to the venue. She chose this dress, she wanted to wear this dress, she was okay with how short it was, and she was comfortable with taking the risk/stress of having to pull it down constantly.
