He is one of my favorite characters in the series. Spoiler: He never even showed up to take this exam, he was projecting an illusion of himself that was so lifelike that no one but Serie could tell. He actually never left his hometown, he was just chilling back at home while the double he created went to take the exam. I also have a theory that this was the reason Übel couldn’t read him well enough to copy his skill; HE wasn’t even there, and even after she sees his power on display she cannot replicate it herself. The moment Serie calls him out in the final test for not even bothering to show up, I knew there was more to him than we’d initially seen. So cool. 💕
