The story about Carrick having a say on transfers is so thats out in the media. Then when the likes of Wilcox buy a Baleba and it fails they say well Carrick had a say. Then they slap Carrick with a 2 year NDA in which time he cant say Wilcox made X signing and by the time he can talk no one listens anyway.

I’d put this down to nothing more than a rumor. The board wanted a malleable manager they could dictate transfers to. I don’t see them doing a u-turn for Carrick, especially when it was the reason Amorim was sacked.

Signing Lewy would be stupid. Because we’d have to replace him next summer. Not to mention he’d demand 250k-300k+ in wages. I’d prefer to see a reliable 24-29 year old striker come in to rotate with Sesko.
