Sam and Nadia are not only comfortable with one another onscreen but their characters are usually comfortable and familiar with one another like King and Erica and seem to often have these Deja vu 🎭 moments. The way King looked at Erica and the interview was 📝🔥🔥 Being a mom on ur own is not easy. In fact it gets down right hard and can be sad and painful doing it alone but a mother that loves her child will not hesitate to make all the necessary sacrifices to take care of them. Being a parent will humble you. The stuff we take on for our children like Erica took on behalf of Nate like being queried and the relentless insults reined on her but we do it with no hesitation🩹😢 I really appreciate when a man steps up as a father. Losing a parent is one of the hardest things you can go through. I know from personal experience that grief is something there is no solution for or pain killer you can take to stop the pain of lose so although losing a parent is painful and at times downright unbearable the privilege of being a parent while it may be tough can be one of the most rewarding things on earth. Nate was a handful and King was really good with Nate & grey eyes to 👁😂 Even through the challenges and struggle of being a parent it's sometimes meant to save us from ourselves and to allow us the opportunity to step up & be better people. I say that bc being a parent can pull us out of our most self destructive habits & choices forcing us to mature, regulate our emotions, shift our focus away from pure self-interest & selfishness like King did. My son Duey is like a mirror that makes me confront my flaws & remember to work on healing wounds I’m holding on to. Of course there are some exceptions and not everyone is prepared to be a parent but having an opportunity to be present and active in our children’s lives is something we can never afford to take lightly. Children are a gift from God. Nate was funny saying King was fake but love knows what’s familiar. King did a little more than flirt with the maid but I appreciate how he got on the right track 🛤 As parents we are appointed the sensible tasks of loving, protecting, and equipping them to navigate life with wisdom and grace by instilling strong values, character, and a deep understanding of their worth. This may all sound well meaning & at times as parent we may feel that it's not always realistic or sustainable but children are a blessing & worth every higher expectation we can fathom⚽ We owe our children the daily effort of being grounded, consistent, and practical which is what I have to remind myself often if not day to day preparing a young adult with special needs for the world. His name is Duey and I wouldn’t trade him for the world ❤ Some of us protect our hearts. Some of us may not always remember faces right away but we surely remember what is real, familiar, the way one made us feel, and the love below. When two ppl come back together it can be all about the mirror of growth, unfinished business, interconnectedness, synchronicity, or a catalyst for presence fate, and destiny. I enjoyed "The Manny" and watching King & Erica’s attraction, flirting, How he stood up for Erica & Nate and would do anything for them ❤
