Carlos was the worst!
The show scriptwriting was extreme. The couple use Xiaomei - an illegal immigrant, their maid and a virgin to be their surrogate. They lied to her that she could stay in US legally if she served as a surrogate for them. No such immigration law! And the mere fact that a wife doesn’t want to get pregnant herself but exploits some other woman in disavantaged situation to be surrogate, the act itself is insult to motherhood, unless the wife is physically incapable herself. Later on Xiao Mei delivered a black baby because the hospital planted some wrong embryo, they kicked her out, didn’t even pay her for surrogacy - sick and toxic script.
Yeah Carlos cheats on Gabby with the maid because the maid was always nice and understanding but that doesn't matter because cheating is not right
And the baby turned out black 😂😂😂
Those saying she is the wife and the husband didn't treat her right are selfish. They should have been prepared rather than making a pregnant woman sleep in that kind of bed and a room without toilet. They are very wicked for using an immigrant innocent virgin as their surrogate and kicking her out after they found out the hospital made a mistake and the baby was switched.
I do not like Xiao mei’s character like she is not Carlos wife and gabby is and I know they want a baby but what about Carlos and gabby can you know then they can have a baby plus Carlos I literally giving everything to Xiao Mei like come on.

Gabby may be high-maintenance but Carlos is just about as lousy of a husband as they get. And other times downright abusive.
