Unexpectedly, the Anbernic RG Rotate has become one of my favorite compact handhelds of the year. Let's take a further look at what makes this unique handheld so special, and whether it'll be a good fit for you. No need to shorten your videos, your long format videos are well scripted and smooth flowing, 99% of the time I don’t even notice that time has passed. I come to your channel for long format.
if this had a 3.5 mm jack i would buy it
I wish it had more fun colors
A 40 minute review on a device I’m waiting for, on my 1/2 day at work. Perfect. 👌🏻
I really hope they make an XL or ver.2 of this. Better audio, 3.5mm jack, better battery. Would buy immmediately.
Video of the RAOffline proxy!
This is cool! And yes to the RAOfflineProxy video!
I think your negatives are really well articulated. I'd be much more interested in this if it had a built-in 3.5mm headphone jack and a more acceptable speaker. I also agree with the SEL and STA kind of detracting from the overall cleanliness of the design - simple 'back' and 'forward' triangles engraved into the buttons probably would have done the job. Still, it's cool that Anbernic are still trying out unique and interesting form factors. If this one gets a follow-up with some small tweaks and improvements to the things you've outlined, it might be enough for me to jump on it.
I want a device that slides, flips, and rotates open all at the same time
I can finally have my snack and drinks.
Ayy, surprise Wulff Den appearance. Hi Bob! Would love to see Russ on an episode of his podcast even just as a remote thing
I hadn't heard of Retro achievements offline proxy. That's great.
I really wish they made a PSP Go sized RG Slide (with an audio jack!)
I love pico 8 , such a great concept.
Here's a comment letting you know I'd be interested in the RAOfflineProxy guide! (And that I watch the video ;))
Now what I really want a device with a sim card slot.
Man, I've been taking a break from handhelds for awhile but the rotate might just be the one to pull me back into the rabbit hole
I've said it a thousand times, if Anbernic does an RG Slide V2 that's slimmer similar to the PSP Go, it'll do numbers
Finally time to do that NextUI video for Trimui Brick. They added offline achievements built into it in the latest update, which is why its relevant to the RA offline proxy you mention.
Sweet vid! I just ordered the Metal one a few days ago, probably gonna ship out in a week or two. I’ll be using this one mostly as a Media Player.
