This is the most honest and relatable account of what it's really like to take care of a new baby that I've ever seen. ❤
This is real life. Thank you for being so real.
New parent delirium looks so good on y'all 😊
This is so normal! Life with a baby is not Instagram perfect. It is crazy, wild, and wonderful! The smiles on your faces show how much you are loving your crazy life with your little lion!
Well as a Mom of 4 and an OB nurse, I want to thank you for showing the reality of life with a baby and a NICU baby. We see so many perfectly curated images on YouTube, no wonder new parents and Mamas feel so down. They have a luxurious misery best baby and everything is gorgeous. Honestly looks like a tv set. Your home looks like a home, well-loved realistic and exactly how many Mama’s live. It is so encouraging and helpful to see you aren’t alone in the world. I have followed you both for a few years. I became a member today because of how you shed such a realistic life after having a baby and having a baby that was in NICU. I mean you both look great and happy, but a little messy hair and clothes everywhere is so normal. Unlike other YouTubers your story and life and now showing us how things are now you are showcasing a HOME that is lived in, looks like you really live there and isn’t so unrealistic no one could achieve it. You are so special and your journey has been a privilege for me to see. I have 4 kids it was a journey my first one adopted at 18 months then 9 months later a newborn my life was whirlwind. I am so glad I didn’t have YouTube to see all the curated moments of others. I would however been so relieved after seeing this video that I wasn’t alone. I didn’t need a beautiful changing table it was upstairs. We were downstairs mine were changed on the couch or the floor. I would have loved seeing i wasn’t the only one with laundry everywhere and toys. I will say as a warning each new baby doubles the laundry. I have 2 at home 2 own their own and still have laundry everywhere. I have been and will keep you in my prayers and that those little eyes grow and mature. Thank you for being so open and honest it is so important and refreshing to see how most people make it through the day. ❤
Other Youtubers/influencers would not show this. You are the real ones for showing the realness of being first time parents.
Finally, parents being real about living on the couch after bringing baby home! Thank you!!!
No one is EVER truly "ready" for their first newborn, even under the best of conditions. You are truly blessed---love to you all and wishing you all happiness! ENJOY!!
You showed your living room and I was like, "yep, they have a newborn!" That is what real life looks like ❤ You do what you've gotta do to survive! You two are doing amazing.
This is the realistic aesthetic we need to see more of. TYSM for sharing!!! This is reality with a newborn, brings back memories of when my 10yo and 3yo were little ❤ congratulations and so happy that he is home and your family is together 🦁
I am 70 & cracked up throughout this video. Deja vu! I had 3 kids. Before the first one was born, I scrubbed the house, washed & IRONED his cloth diapers, t-shirts, receiving blankets, etc. After he was born, lol! No more ironing, my house was a wreck, I tried to nap when he slept, and my couch, too, was the "changing station." My neighbor cross-stitched a picture of a mother holding her baby in a rocking chair and these words: "Cleaning and scrubbing can wait 'til tomorrow, 'cause babies grow fast, we've learned to our sorrow, So quiet down cobwebs, dust go to sleep, I'm rocking my baby, and babies don't keep." You two are doing great! Keep loving on your little guy, your sweet cat, and each other! Everything else can wait. 😊💕
Hearing Lorenzo on your video is the best sound ever!!❤❤❤
Oh you are wonderfully organized. It’s just more pragmatic than aesthetic. Stations are perfect - everything to hand. He is clean, warm, well fed and most importantly loved- you are doing an amazing job.
You will be shocked at how quickly these days will become a memory. Just. Keep. Swimming. ❤
Welcome to parenthood❤️ life has changed so much.. In a great way🦁❤️
You two are the kind of parents every child deserves and your co-parenting partnership is so admirable.
I have one thing to say, rolling carts. At least you can put the baskets in them and roll them where you need them. This is so relatable, and you both look totally exhausted and totally happy! Love it all!
You seem like the happiest, most exhausted new parents I’ve ever seen!
This is real life everyone. This is the most honest, open, and REAL depiction of having a newborn home that I’ve seen online. Gave me flashbacks to 2016 when my son was born ❤
Its nice that YouTubers are realistic. Your house isn't going to be picture perfect on the regular for years. I have a 7 year old and a 3 year old..
