I like to imagine spiffs character just instantly got infected by the World Trees call and dedicated every living moment to getting to it
This is literally exactly what I thought would happen, I saw a bunch of people playing it and I just KNEW spiff would be the only one I watched that would instantly bolt it to the tree

best part is the tree literally never asked him to do that. that was his own free will.

Just the instant "How high did I go?" "TWENTY FIVE HUNDRED METERS."
I would love that in the future when the game gets fully released when you can go to the tree you can find that coral island behind it and you will see a flag with spiffs logo on it “Spiff island”
What I've learned from watching spiff is that if a game ever tells him not to do something, he will do everything in his power to not listen to it and do it anyway

I know they won't, but if they add some form of tribute to spiff, like a 'spiff island' of some kind, somewhere out on the edges of the map, or just a voiceline referencing someone who once scaled the tree, or something about flying or launching oneself into the air, I think that'd be pretty neat.
It's litteraly the pitbulls named princess, cupcake, lily, and daisy when you step 10 cm near a restricted area 😭
Honest to god,bwhen I saw gameplay, thought the tree was one of those unreachable 2D projections at the edge of the map
