Meddy brings the same thing to Sincaraz matchups that Novak does: forcing them to play HIS game instead of trying to adjust to theirs.
Something to take away from that second set is how Medvedev absolutely refused to engage with the crosscourt rally. Every single time Sinner tried to open up an angle, Medvedev immediately changed direction to shut it down. Nole played similarly in their AO clash this year and if you can keep doing that without making errors you can absolutely wear down Sinner. Easier said than done though, ofc. Sinner's stamina is concering. It feels like everytime a match gets physical he just starts making odd decisions. I think that is part of the reason why he's had marginally more success in BO3 than he has in BO5, where the matches are longer. Especially opponents who are willing to grind out long baseline exchanges are troubling him.
