Olivia and Nathan here! Siargao was one of our favorite spots we visited in the Philippines! The amount of activities and things to do around the island really surprised us but what stood out the most was definitely the unique way of life, mentality, and overall high quality lifestyle. We learned a lot from talking to locals and hope sharing this helps you for your trip there! Thank you, Brooklyn Bedding, for partnering with us on this video! This is a top notch commentary β€ thank you so much!!!
Wow. What a beautiful little slice of heaven. I've never even heard of this place and now I want to go there. Thanks for the exposure. If I never get to go, I'm glad I got to see it through y'alls eyes. πβ€π΄
You know..the difficulty or the βchallengingβ ways to travel in the Philippines is kinda a good thing because it filters out the cheap, entitled, classless tourist because the discomfort and annoyance of getting around turns them off..while real travellers who really wants to experience local life, local people and culture remains.
Respect the local first
πππEvery tourist says i only stay in Siargao for two weeks but then became 2 years , then 4 years and counting π€π€π€ the island vibe is simple and out of chaotic cities
The Philippines is a country with more waters than land. Foreign travellers should learn to be patient because youβll be seeing waters from end to end to be able to get to your destinations. Smile! π
I hope and pray it does NOT THE NEXT BALI. Or even the next Boracay
Full of freedom that island of siargao
This was great! We always look forward to your videos. Can't wait to see what's next!
Sir welcome to the Philippines.Try to explore Dinagat islands its a hidden gem of the Philippines a province closer to Siargao.
Just have to say, the baby so cuteπππ

I am a filipino, And you are telling the truth. The down side really is it is more getting expensive. Filipinos are friendly people. Just smile and respect is all they need.
As a foreigner who has been visiting Siargao for the last 20-odd years and observing the inevitable changes, I would say everything mentioned in this video at this time is accurate, except for the wet season. Locals always told me the wet season runs from September to February/March, and July being the "driest" - July being the peak season for non-surfers, Sep being peak for surfers. I have noticed there has been mixed information regarding this, and I find both the local knowledge and my personal experience to be true.
Very entertaining and informative.
I love this video β€ and you guys bring such a fresh perspective and enjoyable to watch. I learn so much through your eyes and experiences. Your adorable family is always a pleasure to watch live such a rich life of memorable experiences. Thanks for all you do to bring these videos to the world. πβ€οΈ

Iβm from N. Mindanao but not visited Siargao yet. Hopefully in the days ahead. I love pristine beaches! Watching from The USA.
Excellent observation even on minute details about the island and the people. Very well said.
Great narative, bravo.
