Remember guys- be a good fandom
The concept of an indie cartoon that is 50% jschlatt yapping at the catgirl he's emotionally dependent on
Mr Paper being the manual and Miss Information being the in-game tips is fucking GENIUS!!!
I like how Schlatts mic is noticeably worse than the rest of the characters but it feels normal lol
Schlatt’s first line being “Woah, What’s going on?!” Gives the impression that he was drugged and kidnapped and just woke in the recording booth with no context
So basically the plot is: "You win! Game over!"
Aw wait I just realized, there's a good chance that the paper we see Kit with in the beginning is "Mr. Paper" leading her to end her world.
The concept of stopping the hero from winning is actually peak
i love how every character has some kind of fleshed out personality and backstory and there's just jschlatt
"please be a normal fandom this time" "with glitch? no way!"
I wanna say, that one of my favorite little details is when the characters heal themselves they each have a special item. Kit has a juice box, Kaboodle has a battery, and Mr. Paper has a glue bottle 😂😂
Uzi: “I’m a damaged OC” Kit: “I have trauma.”
Calling the enemies “Syntax” was peak, in reference to syntax errors, my biggest enemies in python lol.
Glitch's specialty: Traumatizing your characters
I freaking love the attention to detail in making Flappers' game feel like an actual game. He's got a consistent set of moves and abilities, there's clearly defined and visible game mechanics, and the fight against Snappers actually plays out like a proper boss fight with phases and everything. This show is already incredible!
i like how jschlatt’s character is just jschlatt
Kit took one look at Flappers and said "Nah, he's got side-character energy"
