You've reached the end
notice how the horror games that's too much are the games meant to convey a message about a very real problem that happen to a large amount of people. Sometimes the scariest form of horror are not horror beyond comprehension, or big scary monster that eats humans, sometimes it can be something that happens to the vulnerable, the innocent, and the weak done by another human, that happens all around us.
"Art is meant to disturb the comfortable, and comfort the disturbed." That quote feels pretty apt here.

During your play through of Parasite Flower it made me feel more comfortable that you were commentating and showing your disgust as you played through. As someone who dealt through something somewhat similar… it made me more uncomfortable more than I’ve ever felt in a long while. As if I was reliving it. But you made me feel like I wasn’t alone. So if you see this comment, thank you for doing what you do, truly.
I think you can tell that a lot of what almost goes too far in The Hole is fueled by the anger of the dev who wrote it, the one whose family member did those things. Like it was a cry of fury and desperation. There's a very good chance that this family member didn't face adequate punishment for his crimes, and now the dev is screaming, "This is what he did! This is the monster! How can you let him walk away?!"
All three of these games have playthroughs on my channel, however the ‘Related Video’ is the playthrough for #1 :)
And here I thought "It Was Just A Prank" was the most messed up game the Bober Bros. ever made.
The game that gave me a literal panic attack was Beginners guide. It deals with a real situation that happened, and it’s very relatable for some. I was horrified of who I was and if I would become what was presented. I was only a high schooler fresh out of life long childhood abuse. I had identity problems and this game hit HARD. Please play it.
i saw your play through of parasite flower, god it made me angry that this could happen to me, my best friend or anyone i know.
One line from hole terrified me "you are no different from me" from neighbour because the protagonist was drilling hole too. It reminded me that depravetion is closing in on me too when im not looking
I'm very glad that Parasite Flower made the top three. One of my favorite games because although it's message is very disturbing, it still needs to be said, and it conveys it very beautifully. Disgustingly, disturbingly, but beautifully. It also scared the SHIT out of me because I first watched it through your playthrough and me and the protagonist have the same name, I must have jumped three feet in the air hearing you refer to me by name while playing lol
Dang. Just realized Parasite Flower was the first of your vids I ever watched. If I hadn’t finished it, I wouldn’t be a fan today.
In order Nup... NONONONONONONO. And...FUCK NO.
“I gently open the door…” you sick bastard, but beautiful game
A lot of psychological horror games and horror games that deal with real life issues are the ones that stops people the most. We relate while also fearing the possibilities of what we could learn. Humans are interesting in that regard
Sometimes, the scariest thing of all is the harsh reality of what other humans are capable of doing to each other. And it’s important to spread awareness about some of these issues. It’s why I highly respect games that convey these messages and issues in a manner that shows just how debilitating, horrible and terrifying these experiences can be for most. As long as its conveyed in a way that treats it with the seriousness it deserves and needs. It’s about sending a message, in which it’s supposed to make one feel uncomfortable.
The ending of child street 9 was so deep, kid offed himself because he kept having nightmares about that house and how he couldn’t help or change a thing about it
I personally feel like the third one, I just feel like they did it right because this is actually a thing that happens to too many people. They didn’t sugarcoat it. They told it straight up pretty much. Shows a narcissistic mindset, and I would honestly say psychopathic mindset. Blaming everybody else but themselves for their own actions saying things like the mother there the one how made me did this, because he wanted this thing in a certain way, but he didn’t get it. The whole thing of also blaming it on the substance abuse such as alcohol is realistic to. It’s disturbing but necessary to know . Sorry for any spelling or grammar mistake. I’m using voice to text. I’m dyslexic.
The game that disturbed me the most was My Child Lebensborn. It was based on the aftermath of the Lebensborn program, which was a German WW2 program that pretty much selectively bred perfect, blonde haired, blue eyed German children. In the game, you adopt Klaus or Klara, one of many children born from this program. You have to raise and care for these children, all while trying to protect them from those who hate them for the circumstances of their birth. It was deeply distressing for me to see the children suffering at the hands of classmates and teachers and not be able to completely stop it.
Hey, BG. Ever heard of the game Look Outside? No, I'm not making fun of people who reside in a basement to avoid social gatherings, I mean the game about cosmic horror and body horror. It is a mix of survival horror and RPG turn based systems with capital S Stunning visuals of the human body if it were a fractal monstrosity. It's also got multiple endings but that's shit you gotta figure out cuz I refuse to spoil the game~
