rise of the third power plays and feels a lot like suikoden 1 and 2. if that itch is still there, try it, it is one of the best JRPGS in the last few years.

CrossCode is so damn good, man. I’m also super excited for Alabaster Dawn, the developer’s next game that’s more of a successor to CC than a full-on sequel.
+100 for using "too far away times" as the music +10 for chained echoes and ride of 3rd power Honorable mentions should be Cosmic Star Heroine, Shadows of Adam, and 8 Bit Adventures 2
Loved Astlibra. Put in 112 hours. Haven't finished the dlc yet, but completed all the achievements on the main game. The story is so ambitious. Started Chained Echoes, but haven't finished it yet. Seems quite good so far.

Chained Echoes is so amazing, also it's story and characters are really interesting
I loved Chained Echoes (and Xenogears), the last two seem up my alley as well so cheers for the recommendations
I liked legionwood tale of two swords. It's free, a little jank, but you can tell there was some love in there as well
