I like this headcanon that Lae'zel has adopted the casual tone of voice, language, and relatively healthier social conventions of the peoples of Faerun but still acts and thinks like her true Githyanki self. Like hearing Lae'zel acknowledge Karlach's feelings and go "We listen and we don't judge." then quickly pivot to violence and maiming a party member to solve a problem is absolute peak chaotic character development.
