One thing not mentioned that's really easy to miss: She actually has infernal runes carved into her horns. You can partially see them in the video. Someone translated them and they say something like "My Demonsbane, Champion of Zariel". It really is all out there for the world to see.

You know you've created a wonderful character when the whole fandom would risk 3rd degree burns just to give her a hug. Edit: I get it, y'all horny, shut up already.

The fact that she fought in the blood war for years and emerged a good person speaks to her strength of character

She is also notably very very attractive. I don't think this says anything about her character, I'm just gay

Quick note because I’m actually familiar with how those scars look; Real life burn wounds heal exactly into loose slimy sort of arrangement around the area exactly like that. Those **are** burn marks and I love them for her because she doesn’t hide them.

I haven't even played Baldur's Gate 3 yet, but I think I love her already??

Also Karlach living every day of freedom like it is her last, because for years of her life she lived with the chance she could die at any moment being true on the front lines of the blood war. Loving freedom so much that she will happily die before losing it again. I love how her story contrasts her generally loving personality, really makes you think about how little she deserves what happened to her

The thing I love the most about Karlach is how at first glance you'll think she'll be some warrior type who is all about fighting and honour and contempt for the weak yet she's none of those things, she's just a lady who is happy to be here

I also like that she doesnt look like a sex doll. She has a full, stocky build that fits her very well.

Karlach is the most impressive form of trauma response. Having suffered literal hell, fighting her way out and going "Those fucks don't get to define who I am! Not my body, not my mind and especially not my mood! I'll be as happy and jovial as I want to be and y'all can like it or leave it!" She's great

Karlach is SUCH a joy!!!! She's loud and boisterous and passionate and I love her so much. I love all the characters I've met so far, but I really think that Karlach is my favorite. And even if she isn't, she's standing so close to the back of the first person that she could probably ignite their clothes and hair XDD

She is such a sweetheart, she genuinely cares about the other characters. Like when Gale is is told about his [redacted], Karlach says she's gonna distract him from thinking about it. She's like an awesome big sister to the group.

God I love Karlach so much. I'm going to struggle to get these romance achievements on subsequent playthroughs when I keep picking her every time. All I want is to give her a damn hug My heart stopped working when you confess your love and she just can't hold back and blurts it out as fast as she can

She's also just the brightest ray of sunshine and anyone who doesn't choose to hug her when her engine is cooled is a monster

I’ve never played anything Baldur’s Gate related but she looks like the type of person who will sit down, listen to your problems and tells you a story from her life that doubles as advice and bonding as friends
