For the Automatons, it was their most devastating defeat ever. For the Helldivers, it was a Tuesday.
All Helldivers 2 advertisements are just straight up gameplay
The most important 40 dollar decision you can make.
“SWEET LIBERTY MY LEG” he said calmly
´FOR THE EMPEROR!´ -Dude, wrong franchise ´My bad, sorry´
Heldivers 2 is yet another example of passionate people doing what they love, making games, not monetization platforms...
Can confirm, this is less cinematic than being chased by 20 giant flamethrowing robots while waiting for extraction.
I feel like we'll look back at this game and remember it as the moment AA devs could outproduce AAA
POV: your the last helldiver alive on Malevelon Creek
The fucking maniacal laughter while shooting hordes of automatons is just PURE CINEMA
The scene was already good, but adding the right AOT music on top made it 100x better.
I've not played a shooter in over a decade. Now I play helldivers daily. This is the game of the year 2024.
40 dollar game. I got it on sale for 30 bucks. It's better than any triple A 70 dollar game
"HOLD THE LINE!" "SIR! I AM THE FUCKING LINE!" basically describes that mission every time perfectly
People might think this sometimes happen, but no, this happens in every mission in HD2. Say what you will about their overall balancing, but they nailed the presentation of the battlefield, especially the explosions.
This is how i imagined what happened when I played with my action figure toys when I was little
The amount of times you feel like an action movie star just because you have successfully dodged and weaved some deadly hostiles with one stim, no nades, and half your ammo already spent and you know damned well you don't have action movie star plot armor.
helldivers 2 is the 40k game everyone's wanted since dawn of war tbh
Remember the Creek. I've heard their harsh, mechanical voices through the trees, seen them turn entire teams of men to ash in seconds, and watched their legions march forth from fell strongholds. I'm still not sure if it was mist that obscured everything except their scarlet gaze, or smoke from the gunfire and flames that ravaged the entire world. I remember allies fighting until their bodies were broken, the hope leaving their voices as the endless horde surrounded them. I remember good friends choosing to obliterate themselves with ordnance to buy time so others could escape. I remember the sky turning red as we charged to meet them on the beaches, and I remember the crimson glow of the flares as we were pushed back. Remember the Creek, remember what it cost, and remember that we stood strong and won against the odds.
The Attack on Titan soundtrack goes perfectly with Helldivers.
