When you get back, go to the NY Public Library Main branch on 42nd Street - the Schwartzman Building. Go downstairs to the Children's section. Last time I was there, they had the original Winnie the Pooh and all the animals. You can also go to the reading room and last time I was there, they had a Guttenberg Bible on display. Those are my best free things in NYC - you did the others (Staten Island Ferry, High Line).

Honestly I'm surprised how much you were able to do, not a bad experience at all for $25! An extra $10-20 for better food/drink would have gone a long way and is still very affordable.
We visited NY in 2010 as university students. Nearly penniless but we thrived on 2 bros pizza back then. Good times.
