When the content is the same , beautiful face wins
Both are extremely good
Honestly, Both of them are amazing instructors. Shout-out to you Colt and Angela.😊
I've taken courses from both and I swear if they both teamed up, the course they create would be unbeatable. Dr. Angela is SUCH a strong personable teacher who gives you tips on how to stay focused and on track, and Colt is such a good technical teacher.
I'm currently taking the GIT course by Colt Steele and the Web Development course from Angela. I can't speak for the content of Colt Steele's Web Dev course but I definitely prefer Angela Yu as an instructor. She is the sweetest teacher and I love that she has an exercise for pretty much every video. Colt Steele is a close second for me when it comes to instructors on Udemy but nothing beats Angela Yu for me. You can't really go wrong with either though, they are both great instructors.
I think jquery is still relevant only if you're at a region where PHP laravel is the most popular framework utilized by companies. And as a result, they very often, almost always, are using jQuery to manage the JavaScript in their blade templates. Hence, jQuery is still beneficial to learn.
I have bought webDev courses of both instructors ✅💯
I have bought both courses and followed them up to font end part. First I followed angela's course. I felt that angela rushed and just touched the surface and some parts of the course are outdated now, like bootstrap. When I studied her course she did use var variable not const/let. Now not sure whether she has updated it. I thought what she teaches is not detailed enough for me. So, I bought Jonas Schmedtmann's beginner htms css course, advanced css, javascript and node courses and followed front end courses. Then I followed Colt Steel Bootcamp course. Colt Steele course is better than Angela course for me as he teaches in detail. However, I feel that buying individual complete courses (like html css, javascript, node separately ) is worth more than buying a bootcamp course. These days I follow Colt's new CSS course. Jonas's courses are excellent. If you want to learn front end web development buy jonas's courses or colt steel's individual courses or even maximillian's (html css, javascirpt courses separately).
I particpated both, different programming languages. And what I could suggest is that both have their own attractiveness, intelligible expression and convey. I'm a little bit on Angela side when it comes to course structure, examples and intonation. However, both are amazing instructors and a really good start for programming. Love them both!
Both are good but if you want to learn javascript like advanced go for colt steele
You're review described everything I thought about both courses. I say take both just for the portfolio.
I'm enjoying Angela's course. I also heard very good things about Colt Steele. My friend took his course, made projects, and now works as a web developer and makes decent money. He only has a bachelors in history.
the fact is that no one can literally spot the better one between these two courses...when one is beginner friendly other is not...one has a good advance level other has not...i am just stuck which to choose
I don't know about Angela, but Colt Steel's teaching skills are incredible, his linux course on YouTube makes me believe that his udemy courses are so much better.
Angela has a discord group for all of her classes. IT is great.
I watched web development of angela and now doing React from colt and both are awesome
i did both with both arnd 80% complete haha.. I would say that Angela Yu's one is more beginner friendly and less complex and less things to be learnt but end project might nt be as cool as Colt Steele's one. Meanwhile, Colt Steele's one is more complex especially towards the end on the back end ones.. things that Angela Yu doesnt have in her course.. Both are great instructors in terms of explaining and I personally like to switch between both of them in case i am confused with one also great for revising
I'm enrolled in both so hoping for the best results!!!
Hi. Has anyone tried Academind's bootcamp? Interested in how it compares to these other two.
I do both instructors and they are wonderful
