speaking as an airline agent, tim saying y’all plan on LEAVING your home at 4:30am for a 6am flight gives me so much anxiety 😭. with the understaffing issues at most major airports, especially tsa, i would never recommend cutting it that close. it’s a pain waking up early but it’s better than running through the airport and potentially missing a flight. y’all got it tho 😂
You should look into getting the convertible pants. They have a zipper around the knee area and you can unzip them and they turn into shorts. They come in handy when it’s cold and then warms up.
Idk how to word this correctly because I don’t want it to sound like I’m applauding Tim for just acting like a parent-since it’s his job to obviously be their dad. But as someone who just got out of a situation where my ex spouse and kids father took almost no part in the logistical aspects of kids lives, just showed up for sport games and stuff, and seeing so many dads all the time just act like they don’t know how to take care of kids and just leave it on the mom, it is incredibly refreshing to hear Tim at the beginning talking about what the kids will need packed, thinking about Jackson’s pants ahead of the trip, ordering them for him while thinking of the specific material that would be best for the weather; just in general regularly seeing that it doesn’t all fall on Jen gives me hope. Again, it sucks that we live in a world where it has to be applauded but it’s just nice to know that not ALL moms are having the universal experience of having to handle it all by themselves (a lot of moms that I know even have to pack for trips for their husbands clothes too because otherwise it won’t get done)
Tim, get a locker. It only costs about 15 dollars. You don't have to carry a change of clothes.

It's nice you can fly first class with your children and get a meal.
When I go in early flights with my kids, we have them shower the night before & dress in what they are going to wear on the plane ( light clothes like sweat pants) and then when they get up it's just socks, shoes, bathroom and teeth & hair which makes the process go a lot more smooth. Then when we get to our destination they change.
I used to live in new orleans, and I always said the sky looks like a simpsons sky. Perfect blue with low hanging bubbly separate clouds. Was always amazing to me how it was different

Yep, we always catch our flight from Kansas City to Orlando as the very first flight, nonstop. I think when we went over Christmas we left at 6:30am from KC. Kids are all grown and we've always done this early flight their whole lives.
