Incorrect... The closest spot to the center of the Earth is not the Marianas Trench, it's actually accessible by human. It's at the North Pole. The Earth due to its spin is elongated Around the equator which the mariana's trench is very close to your closer to the center of the earth standing on the ground at either one of the poles
