Happy 100th Birthday, Sir David Attenborough. Thank you for giving a voice to the world, and for showing us how much we have to understand nature to live in harmony with it.

I hope BBC Earth keeps producing nature documentaries of this caliber for decades to come—the cinematography, music, and SFX are absolutely outstanding. The crab legs ticking as they walked made me smile.

The bioluminescent flashes in the deep sea were like signals from another world—alien, beautiful, and a reminder of how little we truly know about our own planet.

Sir David's voice is among the few of a kind such that we can watch comfortably without the need for sub-titles on the screen! Serene, sharp and crystal clear!

David Attenborough’s voice feels like nature itself speaking — calm, wise, eternal. We owe him so much. 🙏

This documentary made me feel like I was actually diving into another world. The deeper the journey went, the more mysterious and beautiful everything became. Creatures I never knew existed appeared out of the darkness.

The way the cuttlefish seamlessly goes from bumpy to smooth, all with the pulsing colors is such a treat to watch

31:15 I’m convinced someone with lactose intolerance drank a glass of milk, put the mic onto their belly, and recorded these sound effects

The coconut shell that the clownfish and its mate carried home to build a nest for their offspring — a touching story of love and resilience beneath the ocean. 🐠💖 Life here is both harsh and heartbreakingly beautiful! The music complements it perfectly.

The ocean is another universe — mysterious, magical, and full of life we barely understand.
