While I instantly clocked the Madame X reference, it doesn't mean the look becomes interesting. I think I'd be more partial to it if it was a more accurate recreation of the look too. She didn't bother to recreate the hair and the actual construction, colour and fabric of the dress itself which just makes it feel half assed imo. Or even if it went in a crazier direction to do something out of the box with the reference Maybe if the strap off the shoulder was covered by a body suit and made too look like it was painted over and placed back on the shoulder to allude to the history of the painting idk GIRL DO SOMETHING
