Lens and sensor companies need to innovate more to make single camera form factor work
I think the biggest issue with the battery is longevity. if you buy a new phone every year, it's fine, but of you go on the 2 year cycle or longer idk it's an option
I dropped my fold 7 for my pixel 9 due to weight in the end. So I get it.
I love the air and I also love the s25 edge.
I had the same reaction going from the 11 Pro to the 16 Pro. The added bulk of the new Pro phones is real.
SAME….. cant do thick phones anymore. Hate holding a brick
Why people rock phone cases and pay for insurance is crazy to me 😅 i pay 25$-50$ and I get a new one once it breaks. Which is the price of a good case 😂
All my friends grab my phone and go “ WOW “ it’s so light. I said yeap. Once you use it you can’t go back to the heavy Pros it feels trash in the hand.
I love the air, it just depends on your use case.. I sit at a desk for work, so my phone I put on my magsafe charger when I need to.. but if I don't it makes it to about 20% or less each time.. having worked at Apple I learned that you should let your phone drain as much as possible before charging it.. like a EV these days to prolong the battery life. and then I have the thin anker battery bank if I am out and using my phone a lot like at Disneyland or something.. and its fine.. The camera is the only thing that can't be worked around.. I do miss the wide angle lense but I do find I don't take enough pictures to justify switching back to a bigger phone.. I love the Iphone Air, last thing I will say is, it feels very balance, I never drop it, unlike the past pros I was always dropping.
Ditched my 17 pro for an Air. Don’t feel like going back.
Are you trolling us with the n-1 mic setup?
I wanted to hate the Air but I held it on hand and it’s so PRETTY 😩
For niche models like Air & Mini, the problem lies in the product cycle and NOT on the products themselves. They have to do it like 2-3 year with generation upgrade instead of yearly. Then Apple will realize these models can further both the market share and profit margin for them.
Honestly for the same weight, half the price, and more manageable in the hand… I’d just get the 17e
The audio quality is amazing.
I have a Galaxy S25 Edge. I agree - the thinness and light weight are phenomenal. I never knew how much I'd appreciate this form factor.
Just use the battery pack for travel. Then take it off when you don’t need. Best of both worlds.
There’s absolutely nothing wrong with the airs battery. It’s better than flagships from just a few years ago.
I don’t want to go back to the Pro either. I hope they continue the line with some improvements for the shortcomings in the future
So for me, it’s been just adjusting how I charge my phone throughout the day. I’ve learned that I have been spoiled by the pro battery life but I’m figuring it out. The lightness is what really stands out even now I’ve gotten used to how thin it is is just the fact that it weighs nothing and it’s not made out of plastic, but titanium and glass
