Well in normal use you install a few inserts at once, then let the iron cool down and then heat it up again so in real scenarios it will be way less but still pretty impressive!

Honestly this is the kind of sponsored content I’m cool with, like show me you putting it to the test and being honest. If they’re true to their word and sponsoring a creator I like, and proving it, then I’m game.

worst thing is heating it up again... if you insert 4 let it cool.. and then start up again it would drain the battery faster since keeping warm and heating up are bit different operations

I never buy battery-powered gear unless the battery is a standard size that is easily replaceable. The ONLY exception is my smartphone, as their battery management is actually OK, and I've not yet had to replace one before the rest of the phone became obsolete. (I'm still using my Pixel 7a, and nothing since has seemed like much of an upgrade for the money.) I learned my lesson after I went through 3 Sonicare toothbrushes before finding their Travel version that accepted standard AA batteries, and works fine with NiMH rechargeables. Learned the same lesson on my rechargeable screwdrivers and, especially, soldering irons. Enough already., Until we get permanently installed batteries that last longer than the rest of the device, I'm avoiding built-in batteries that aren't easily replaceable. The Fantik T1 Max *may* be an exception, as it appears to be fully functional using external power, which makes the battery a non-essential component.

I’ve had good luck with all my Fanttik product. If I didn’t already have a completely functional Pinecil I’d snag one.

I got one, really neat concept but it's a bit inconsistent for normal long term soldering.
