"Market conditions." Always annoys me. Most average people can’t comprehend the insane profits these companies make yearly. They can easily absorb the costs of rising memory prices, tariffs, ect, but choose to pass those costs to the customer because the only thing that matters isn’t being profitable it’s that profits keep increasing year on year with no end limit. That’s unsustainable.

When I watched the Mixtape review video I thought "This game is not for me. I probably won’t like the story because it isn’t really nostalgic for me and as I understand it, there’s not much else going on with it. But I get why he liked it" and that's why I like this channel. I don't get hyped or have unnecessary expectations from the game after I watch your reviews. Even when I don't agree with your opinion, even when you praise the game in the review I can tell if I will like it or not. So don't stop what you are doing, man. While we might not be as passionate as the people sending death threats to you and don't mention it much, there are a lot more people who appreciate your work here

The Mixtape discourse is crazy.
It's really interesting to see so many comments upvoted saying something along the lines of "He'll never address the criticism" when he very clearly does. When your main detractors are people who can't even be bothered to scan through a video to see if what they're saying is true, I can't really believe that their opinions on a game they'll never play are worthwhile. It's funny how they're throwing unfounded accusations that SkillUp is being paid to have an opinion, but they're doing it for free cuz some other YouTuber is whining about a global conspiracy to AstroTurf a random game.

Between the tariffs and the AI induced memory shortage, I'm done with this generation and probably the first half of next generation. I'm having too much fun now with my modded Dreamcast and Wii and the recent developments in the PS5 jailbreak scene are super exciting.

I swear a lot of the channels that call this out used to say “put it in your own game” and now a completely new IP comes out and they still want to find a reason to whine. I think it just shows how sad some of these people are they can’t just simply look at a new IP and say not for me…instead it can’t be for anyone. They’re pathetic imo, but this channel is GOLD
