Fun fact: Lie Swatter was the prototype for the party pack. Initially it was pitched to cinemas and something that would be before movies. It was rated very well by playtesters but was never implemented because it took up valuable ad space time. So Jackbox took the idea of a game played on a giant screen with cell phones, and turned into the party packs.

The first (and only) time I played "Survive the Internet" I was playing with a bunch of people from college who THOUGHT I was the quiet, reserved, and soft-spoken anime club president. I won by a several hundred point margin and I don't think any of the people in that room saw me the same way again. Also Quiplash is one of my family's all time favorite games (even though my mother scolds my siblings and I when we say something particularly vulgar, I also feel the need to say that my siblings and I are all adults and the youngest is almost 26).

My dad actually raised me on the CD ROM version of You Don’t Know Jack from the 90s! I remember seeing that Jackbox came out with other things like the party packs, and I thought “From the creators of the iconic You Don’t Know Jack??!!”

Trivia Murder Party is an absolute gem, I love how it threads that fine line between being legitimately unnerving and totally absurd. Quiplash and Fibbage will always be the best, and I'm biased towards TeeKO as an artist, but TMP is my personal favorite of the bunch :)

As someone who does the closed-captioning for new episodes of The Tonight Show as part of their job (line by line as each episode airs), I was not expecting the Jimmy Fallon jumpscare at 34:15. Even in my off hours, I can't escape this man.

When I was around 7, I distinctly remember my grandparents getting a huge rear projection tv that had You Don't Know Jack, and Doom preinstalled onto it, with the keyboard it came with. My brother and I were forbidden from playing both. Which means we played the crap out of Doom. We TRIED to also play You Don't Know Jack, but didn't fully understand what was going on or how to play it, and gave up.
