apparently, we have different understandings of "thriller."
Jonas is strong dont get me wrong. But its gall who surprised me the most today. Incredible performance
Jonas is just pacing himself- still better than the others here. Gall did amazingly well today.
We can all hear the radio. CΒ΄mon Jonas
I was surprised by Gall, and I also was surprised how close Lipo was to Pogi a few weeks ago. Then we have Seixas who could actually hold Pogis wheel. Maybe the tour will be interesting after all. It doesnt feel like the last few years, where the only question was how many minutes Pogi will be ahead of Vingo.
gall and seixas duo will be the best combination in tdf
These are my favorite kinda of stages. Big long hard climbs
Jonas looked to be riding completely within himself. That wasn't full gas.
It's crazy how Pogi has subconsciously altered my expectations for how to expect someone to win. "But were they breathing? Did they look like they were not even really trying? Did they win by a minute and a half?
So much vingegaard haters over here. Whats the problem?
so the vingegaard started his main engine in order to warm it up. let's see, who will be able to follow, when this engine starts to run at standard speed the next days....
Game on for Jonas π
Great performance from Gall.
Sean Kelly talks You know You know You know
Jonas is in the best form of his life. This climb is the sort of climbs that is most favorably to him. And I'll bet when Jonas dropped Pellizari like a rock with still 4km to go, and with Gall still further behind Pellizari, all the Jonas fans were expecting that Jonas would now put in a multi-minute gap and be on his way for not only a big stage win, but an emphatic win that would essentially "put the Giro away, ligths out". Well Jonas go the stage win, so that is good for him. But nobody expected Felix Gall to be only 13 seconds down, and in fact was reeling in Jonas in the last 2 km. Alas, the Giro is not over, and we now have a fight on our hands.
Vingegaard will get smashed at tour.
I guess the part of cycling that is easy to forget is the absurd fact that these guys are doing numbers unfathomable to any keen cyclist, at altitude.
Complimenti.
How frustrating it must be to be this good of a grand tour rider in the age of Tadej. Hey, at least he will be able to say that he beat him a couple of times. That is no small thing.
First proper mountain day is stage 14, thereβs so so far to go yet. Vingegaard isnβt even warmed up.
