Even if it's an accident, the ball hitting a dropped cap can completely change the direction of the ball and stop a boundary. Should the ICC change the rule so that ANY time the ball hits a piece of dropped clothing, it's an automatic 5-run penalty
if you cant give the 5 runs penalty atleast give the boundary because the ball was going to touch it anyways

Sir before commenting on something you should always be aware of the proper and complete information. In the 2nd case it was not sourav ganguly who was late eventually what happened was sachin was next to bat and was not allowed by the umpires since he had a time off during fielding and gave him a penalty that he cannot be on bat next and the next in line was VVS who was in shower and hence ganguly was forced to get to bat.. Next time please go through the proper scenario.

All three were wrong decisions. First one has to be 5 penalty runs, when it hits wicketkeeper’s helmet it’s not intentional either. Second one missing stumps. Third one should be given out ss SA appealed.
