You've reached the end
"Having a desktop 5-axis CNC helps tremendously" Quite a flex there. But having the skill to design and understand the parts is an even bigger flex. You're a legend, Johnny!
Mechanically driven boost is 100% supercharging. No two ways about it
Finally one that will fit my geo metro.
I would have loved to see a tiny pressure gauge to check it's output. That's freaking adorable
The shade thrown at the very end was the cherry on top. The amount of times I’ve had to differentiate a centrifugal supercharger from a turbo for my buddies is insane.
I absolutely love the closing comments. Instead of telling people they're idiots, he explains the obvious. Thumbs up.
Some people just don't understand that turbochargers are driven by exhaust while superchargers are driven by the belt. "It's snail shaped, therefore it has to be a turbo!"
CNC is definitely a modern cheat code. Imagine making this in the 80s
It’s a centrifugal supercharger. Or half of a turbo plus a gear box. Wonder how much boost it can make
Damn I regularly break full size bits in my mill, i can't imagine how difficult it is keeping tooling this tiny in one piece 😂
people calling it a turbo lol lmfao
Your terminology is correct granted looks like a turbo but not driven by exhaust. Awesome work as always
This is one of the coolest things I've seen in a while. Petty incredible to have the knowledge to make all these parts and have it become a functioning mini charger. Mad props to you man, this is pretty damn awesome!
Just because it's turbo shaped, doesn't it a turbo make
One day a NASA engineer is going to contact you asking for help on a rover project after watching your content!! Amazing skills!!❤❤
OH MY GOD IT'S SO CUTE!!! FRICKIN ADORABLE!!! Amazing work.
Man you are genius in the rc world love your videos been watching them for a while now and I've been impressed by every build 😊😊❤
You should make centrifugal superchargers that will fit on the back of 250cc and 400cc radial Moki R/C aircraft engines. You could probably sell a lot of them to individuals or maybe even get a contract to sell them to the company that makes the Moki engines.
I don't think most people realise how small a 1/64 carbide milling bit is
"I get a lot of comments from people insisting they're right when they don't know wtf they're talking about". Happens to the best of us. This ...is a remarkable attempt at precision with some tools, technology, and techniques which simply were not available 10 years ago at the benchtop. Keep up the good work. Very fun to watch!
