When assembling a clutch pack like that, or the ones in an automatic transmission it is good practice to soak the clutches in the type of oil the unit uses. It prevents damage from dry engagement. The oil dissipates heat from the parts more effectively. Plus, if something doesn't fit fully there is a reason. When I watched you put it together the first time I was yelling at the TV " don't tighten it up. You don't have all the splines engaged!" I could see it from the way the upper half was not seated on the lower half. Transmission rebuilders notice things. Love watching your videos Matt! The learning never stops BTW.
If you have solar panels that say “do not leave in the sun”, you need different solar panels. 😂
Hey Matt that winch battery should be charging from the main alternator through a battery isolator. Those little solar chargers are like peeing on a bonfire. They are not actually capable of recharging a depleted battery, they mainly act like a float charger.
Love seeing Matt back in the videos. It’s called Matt’s Off Road Recovery for a reason 😄
Kolby keeps getting better and better. Some pretty nice drone shots out there!
If you're gunna use compressed air at eye level it's a really really good idea to throw on a pair of safety glasses MATT..............
you said to comb the desert and we're combing it!
I never thought Id see a day without forgotten tools, no tools or flat batteries and I still havent.
Cleaning is never a waste of time as long as you can get someone else to do it 🤪
It's so great of the MORR crew to really clean up the mess in the wild.
Hi Matt, I still maintain the rear wheels should be around two foot further back on the chassis for effective balancing of loads. Just saying. Another great video, thanks.

People calling out steps you missed like this is a how-to channel.
Put them coolers up on that headache rack and get them in some fresh air !
"I'm so tired of learning stuff." Me too, brother. Me too.
For a recovery business, a lot of time happens in the workshop. Any guessing how many hours in the shop for every hour on recovery?
Can't remember what transmission you used but hopefully it's a 4l80 and if you have a high stall converter I would get rid of it. High stall brings high heat.
Great job Matt and it has to feel great to have a victory with the spud truck! That really deserved a victory pie.
A lot of these comments must be newbies.😂 The Morrvair is still my favorite build. I’ll never forget when they were on that mountain road in the snow and had to turn around but there was no room, Matt backed the Morrvair up the side of the mountain to turn around. One viewer wrote it looked like a RC vehicle. The amount of flex didn’t look real.😂
Matt fixing problems faster than the truck can create new ones! 😅
