Recently I also bought the Mahindra XUV 7XO. The car is good overall, but it still has a large scope for improvement which company have to work on. The sensors feel inconsistent at times. The auto lock/unlock feature does not work reliably every time, so you often have to manually check whether the car is locked. The rear camera also has noticeable blind spots near the bumper corners. MID average/fuel economy calculations are quite inaccurate across different categories. The touch controls are also not up to the mark in terms of responsiveness. Even Tata’s touch panels feel more responsive and refined. Steering mount control buttons need improvement. Another issue is with the BYOD clamp setup — when it is being used, the middle passenger seat really needs a sliding adjustment function, which is currently missing. Also buyers should keep in mind that Never trust the ADAS completely — it is only meant to assist the driver, not replace attentive driving.
