At 400kg more than a Model Y LR, what are you looking at from a total cost of ownership perspective? Surely need higher spec tyres that are gonna wear faster, more expensive rego and they also have a traditional servicing model that isn’t exactly cheap considering it’s an EV. I like these cars but worried the $ will add up in a big way.
Who remembers when 300kw was incredible. Not that long ago really. Amazing power for a family car.
If you have sunglasses holder on the roof it’s get crazy hot. Door bin for sunglasses is perfect you don’t need to take your eyes off the road you know exactly where it is after couple of days

the door handle issue can be fixed because with my 7x the same problem occured but when approching the parratta dealership they told us from the car or the app you can change handles and what they can do when unlocking or locking or how many of them open eg the drivers or passangers or back one

Paul, I think it merits a weight comment, at 300kg heavier than a model y LR and 400kg heavier than a MY RWD its a lot of weight, and your comment that RWD can have a bigger battery without imposing a weight penalty should be in the context that a MY LR is much lighter. Not a Tesla apologist but one thing I hate about EVs is weight creep...

My Zeekr 7x is by far the best car I have ever owned, it really puts the overpriced European cars to shame and gives those legacy brands a real run for their money. I feel that the sunglasses holder in the arm rests are a far better design, they have a velvet inside so the lenses dont get scratched. Also the passenger has a spot to keep their glasses, so two spots instead of one. The car is that good that Im even considering getting a second one.
Can I get your opinion on the difference in ride quality and road noise between the AWD (21inch tyres) and the RWD (19 inch tyres) please?
what about the health impact with EV's ? Also what about the battery cost replacement in coming years ?
Why do modern vehicles have to have electric everything? From door handles to seat adjusters just adding complexity and eventually cost
To those who have kept a model y as well, how would you rate the suspension of z7x vs MY Juniper. We are used to toyota sedan like comfortable suspension. I have driven the MY it did seem firmer but you cant be certain within a short trip. Z7x i ahvent driven but looks like more comfy than the MY.

I believe China has banned 1 pedal driving because kids have been slamming the accelarator before accidents because they aren't used to braking.. As I understand it China made OPD illegal so you have to stop the car with the brakes. So I don't think Zeekr will fix your complaint, more cars will stop doing OPD as we go forward.
Any idea of when the normal door handles would be flowing into the Australian market? Looking at the Beijing Auto Show it appears many of the new models coming out have good ol fashioned mechanical handles...
