Who buys a jaguar V12 and only drives it 2600 miles in 30 years? It's great that someone did and we still have these cars around, but i don't understand it at all.

Tried to buy a Mercedes AMG GT four years ago. Went into the dealership and told the sales guy I was looking at the Merc and a Porsche 911. I had just finished test driving a 911 and asked if it would be possible for me to do a back to back road test. He looked at me, and no lie said, they were expensive cars and therefore didn’t allow test drives. I suggested someone from the Mercedes dealership do the driving and I would simply ride along, same answer. My response, thank you very much, I immediately walked out and returned to the Porsche dealer to make a deal on a 911. I’ve purchased 3 other Porsche since then. True story. The guys at Porsche are more than happy to do test drives, in fact when I bought my last one (Turbo S), the general manager said let’s go for a ride and I’ll show you what this bad boy is capable of. He did.
