One year I was at the winter nationals in Southern California. I was not a driver to That event! A funny car lost control and started running towards the crowd. Everyone jumped back from the fence. I froze with my best female friend, and the funny car hit the concrete safety barrier and bounced back to the track . The hairs on my arm that stood up were singed by the heat of the vehicle as it burst into flames! I’ll never forget that moment!
