Looking good.
those spicy meatballs look lovely
I have massive admiration for anyone vegan. But I wish that you would call the dish what it is. Vegan Meatballs. No. Its balls of something. Not meat. Own your creation and give it a name to describe what it is. Someone once offered my cashew nut cheese. Its not cheese. Be proud that its an agglomeration of cashew matter. Call it that. Someone once made me “spaghetti bolognaise”, with brown lentils instead of ground beef. No. You made river sludge with pasta. Be proud. Own it as a unique dish. If you do it right vegan food can i am sure be delicious, but don’t try hook me in by referring to it as something akin to a non-vegan dish. Innovate, don’t emulate.
You don't need oil with mushrooms. They give off moisture
I've never heard of some of your ingredients, the type of rice, the type of mushrooms...and no idea where to find them...I hope the substitutions I use will be tasty as well.
Vegan MEATballs! Should you be using the word MEAT it’s somewhat contradictory. 😂
Thank you for sharing. They look delicious! 😊
Thx for the video. Just bought a printable copy. Looks absolutely delicious. I’ll be going back for more recipes on your website. ❤
I have no clue what a chestnut mushroom is. Can I substitute portabella or shiitake mushrooms? Watching from Florida.
You can’t call these meatballs they have no meat!
I have been a vegan since 2014 and it has changed my life. These recipes are delicious and healthy for us old timers as we age. Creston, BC, Canada
Thanks for adding written recipe in DESCRIPTION! That's a lot of ingredients!
Wow they look so wholesome and delicious. I have all the ingredients but no paella rice, but ill substitute arborio risotto rice. I think it will still give good results. Thanks for this creative recipe! ❤
Worcestershire sauce is not vegan. It's made with anchovies. Consider coconut amino.
This is VERY heavily seasoned indeed. I think I will go light on some of that.
This recipe looks imbalanced as the herbs are overly heavy and the turmeric is far too much. Also, you added an onion and several garlic cloves…then added onion and garlic powder….you can enrich the flavour of those two items by not cooking them…simply grind them in the processor and bake them in the mixture. Rosemary, oregano, and thyme will leave a very woodsy green tone to the mix….perhaps try a bit of savoury and basil instead of rosemary and thyme…just a thought. Finally should not use ground beans as it always leaves the mix soft like falafels and not dense like a meatball. Perhaps use some more tofu as this is a bean curd from soya/edamame bean. Add in a bit of ground Almond flour to stabilize the structure and add more of a milky flavour…this may allow the umami flavour of the mushroom to shine. Just spitballing here…😊❤
Can't wait to try this recipe, looks fantastic! Watching in northern Scotland!
